1999
iFLYTEK founded by university classmates.
2000
iFLYTEK partners with the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Chinese Academy of Social. Sciences(CASS) to build preliminary research labs.
2001
iFLYTEK holds a one-week closed-door conference in Bantang, Chaohu City, Anhui Province to chart its future development centered on speech technology.
2008
iFLYTEK goes public and lists on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the only voice technology company listed at that time(Stock Code:002230).
2010
iFLYTEK launches the iFLYTEK Open Platform, the first open voice platform with voice recognition capability.
2011
iFLYTEK launches the first Chinese deep neural network(DNN) speech recognition system, paving the way for future AI development.
2013
iFLYTEK presents its carefully developed BN-ivec technology in the field of language recognition.
2015
iFLYTEK launches AIUI, a human-computer interaction (HCI) interface, setting the new standard for HCI in the era of interconnectivity.
2016
iFLYTEK releases the Xiao Yi Translator and the iFLYREC Intelligent Conferencing System.
2018
The iFLYTEK Machine Translation System takes the China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI) , reaching a level of proficiency equivalent to professional translators for the first time.
2019
In September,  iFLYTEK is selected as the exclusive transcription and translation service provider for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to make the Games the first with barrier-free communication.
2021
iFLYTEK's "Speech Recognition Method and System "patent wins the 22nd China Patent Gold Award, the highest award for intellectual property in the country.
2023
iFLYTEK introduces its cognitive large mode.
